2018 Activity Begins March 17, 2019

We have a match planned for the 3rd Sunday of the month from March through October. A match consists of 6 good stages with one being a classifier. Our round count average for each match is about 135 but always come with plenty extra.

Registration will start at 8:10 am and run through 8:45 am. Shooting will begin right after everyone is registered which should be at 9:00 am.

Cost is $20.00 for adults and $5 for juniors. Juniors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. We want to promote our youth shooters with their parents so if you shoot with your junior child the total cost will be $20.00.

Fremder’s will register you and compile the scores from the Nooks. We will be using Practiscore so if you have an iPhone or android device with the Practiscore app loaded you will be able to download the match results prior to leaving the
range,

After you finish shooting your last stage we ask that you please help tear down and bring all materials to the front of the bay so we can then get those props put away. Buckets with stage materials and scoring devices will be collected right after each squad finishes. This allows us to score the match promptly so it can be posted in a timely fashion. Thank you for all of your help and cooperation.

Setup is generally the Saturday morning before starting at 8:00 am. Please come and lend a hand (OSC members can earn work hours). This will give you the opportunity to figure out how you will shoot the stages and you get to add your touch to the devious target placements. If you are a beginning shooter this also gives you the opportunity to work with more seasoned shooters and if you take the time to ask how they plan to shoot the stage after setup you might be enlightened.

We have shooters at many different skill levels and walks of life enjoying this sport. You do not need to be a professional shooter or a member of OSC to shoot these matches.  You simply need to be safe and have a desire to engage targets with a pistol in a controlled environment. We plan to have a fun and challenging experience on the range each match. You are more than welcome. If you are a new shooter or have any questions please contact me at oscinc.org.

See you on the range!

Oconomowoc Sportsman’s Club uses online registration so if you plan on coming to match on Sunday, you can go to the Practiscore Match Management page and pre-register (OSC USPSA July Match).  There is no obligation for you to sign up prior to Saturday but if you can, it will save time and help get the match started on time.  Feel free to sign up on any squad, but realize we may have to make adjustments.   For your convenience the link below will get you to the match.

When using the Practiscore website it is very important that you fill in your name as it is on your USPSA membership and USPSA number correctly.  When filling in your USPSA # do not use the dash or space, i.e.TY02345, and if you are not a USPSA member enter “PEN” in the field.

After you finish shooting your last stage we ask that you please help tear down and bring all materials to the front of the bay so we can then get those props put away.
